This work included business consultations, seminar development, educational materials development, and teaching both traditional and online courses at two universities.  Denise has also produced and hosted educational television programming focusing on personal/professional growth and interviews regarding newsworthy community events, and has appeared as guest speaker on local radio talk shows. She has taught courses in organizational communication, leadership, and conflict management. Her research dissertation was entitled, “Relationship Between Emotional Intelligence and Leadership Style: Implications for Emotional Intelligence Training.”
